Why make a gift to The English Concert in your will?

Leaving a legacy to The English Concert is one of the most powerful ways you can make a lasting impact on us and our work. By pledging to leave a gift in your will you are helping to ensure that The English Concert can maintain the highest of artistic standards, plan with confidence and above all, share the joy of music with our community for generations to come. From creating outstanding live performances, to driving innovation with our digital productions, supporting young artists and introducing the youngest in society to music through our education projects, TEC is only able to carry out our work thanks to the generosity of our supporters, including those who leave a gift in their will. If TEC has brought you joy in your lifetime, we hope that you will consider leaving a bequest to sustain our work and inspire the music-lovers of tomorrow.

All legacy pledgers will be invited to join the TEC Continuo Circle, a group of like-minded patrons who have all chosen to remember TEC in this important way. When the time comes, it is important to us that we are able to recognise and honour your support properly. Whilst we would generally suggest leaving your gift ‘unrestricted’, allowing us to direct it to our area of greatest need at the time, we are always happy to discuss ways in which you can support particular projects or areas of our work that resonate most with you, such as Handel for All, or our work with young artists. We acknowledge that legacy giving is a deeply personal choice, and will treat all gifts anonymously unless otherwise requested.
